Berkeley Public Library Foundation 16th Annual Author’s Dinner

Awesome evening at the Berkeley Public Library Foundation’s 16^th Annual Author’s Dinner!  This is an event to fete writers who are from the Bay Area, and since I grew up in Berkeley I was eligible, and I consider it a great honor to have been chosen.  The event took place in the historic library building, a place where I spent countless hours in my youth, wandering the stacks and loading up my arms with books in which I would later lose myself, but that night the building was filled with amazing writers whom I was eager to meet, forgetting that I, too, was one of the “celebrities.” I was fortunate to have my mom, dad and sister there to celebrate with me.
