DESCRIPTION:Awesome evening at the Berkeley Public Library Foundation’s 16th Annual Author’s Dinner!  This is an event to fete writers who are from the Bay Area\, and since I grew up in Berkeley I was eligible\, and I consider it a great honor to have been chosen.  The event took place in the historic library building\, a place where I spent countless hours in my youth\, wandering the stacks and loading up my arms with books in which I would later lose myself\, but that night the building was filled with amazing writers whom I was eager to meet\, forgetting that I\, too\, was one of the “celebrities.” I was fortunate to have my mom\, dad and sister there to celebrate with me. \n
